US Forces Move Closer to Syria

As we all know the United States Military always want to act as the “worldwide police.” America's wars have always been in foreign countries, and with no reason of involvement. As examples we have China, Russia and the EU who also have the hardware to intervene and great military forces.  Yet ONLY the US is wringing its hands and asking if it should be doing more.  The rest of the world looks on with complete indifference while pretending interest by loudly shouting "someone should do something" and by saying that someone should do something they basically mean, let the US take care of it. It doesn’t matter to Obama that chemical weapons were used to gas children by a psychopathic ruler who has been using barbaric tortures on children.  What matters to him is that he gets permission from Russia and China and the press and the polls to do what is right and decent.  In my opinion, and I’m sure that many of you think the same, I think that the US should avoid this intervention with Syria. If there are many concerns about the nation’s currency, they should stop financing and spending the armed forces as much as they do, and invest in education and businesses to generate more jobs.

  What next for Edward Snowden?

Almost everyone knows today about the discontent that the White house has against Moscow regarding the former American computer specialist who worked for the CIA and the NSA and leaked many "top secret" information. President Vladimir Putin from Russia decided to give one year of political asylum to Snowden with one condition of not to publish more information that could harm the United States and the Russo relationship, while the Obama administration is trying to bring him back to the US to stand trial. Obama and Putin were supposed to have a meeting to discuss Russia's decision to grant asylum to a "lawbreaker" but it was canceled. This clearly shows that this two leaders still have an uneasy relationship which doesn't allow to work on resetting diplomatic ties in both sides. Is now Snowden the most wanted man on earth? or is it just another US fugitive? As this case happens, it leaves many questions unanswered. This case could provoke a new "cold war" between the US and Russia because of the leak of secret information.

Cleaner Transportation, Powered with Natural Gas

Public transportation in the US consumes a large part of fuel that comes into the country. Some cities such as Los Angeles decided to move away from using fossil fuel to use "natural gas" which is the result of diseased animals and vegetables, to improve and make the public transportation cleaner. As the article mentions "Reducing emissions while saving on fuel costs. Since converting to natural gas, officials estimate that they have cut the release of particulates from the bus fleet by 80 percent and greenhouse gases by about 300,000 pounds each day." What this means is that using natural gas as a resource not only makes the transportation cleaner but saves up to 20% on fuel. Large amounts of natural gas can be found in the US. Thanks to this resource, the prices for public transportation are improving across the entire nation. The extraction of natural gas and the construction of natural gas power plants can also ruin the soil less than coal and oil extraction do, which allows the land to recover more easily.
