Brazil, a Rising Power

Brazil is characterized as a new rising power in Internationally because of the increase in their economy. According to recent data about country’s economy, Brazil has the eight biggest economy at Global Level and it is the biggest and strongest economic power of Latin  and South America as well. Also, Brazil is the biggest industrial center of South America with its rich and diversified resources.  In addition, its agricultural resources, livestock resources, wood resources, mineral and metal resources are very rich and these resources have direct impact to the economy of country. Brazil has great economical potential. As mentioned above, Brazil economy is among the most ten attractive economy for foreign investors. Even, it is predicted that, Brazil economy will be among top seven economies together with economy of EU, USA, Japan, Russia, India and China. This clearly states that Brazil is on the way to be one of the most important countries among the ones to keep the World Order.

Brazil, the next World Power

Gun Control

             The Second amendment states that people have the right to bear arms. Still, many states are trying to implement gun control laws. Some of them want them to be banned completely and others agree to have the right to keep a gun. I feel that we should have the right to have a weapon for our own safety. Maybe the alternatives to gun control will take longer and require more effort and money to put into place than restricting guns and requiring universal background checks, but if President Obama really means what he says when he talks about how important it is to protect lives, he should be willing to do whatever it takes to protect U.S. citizens, and realize that more gun control will not protect the people he says he wants to protect. I believe that our country will become safer when more and more law abiding citizens are able to exercise their rights and obtain guns for their safety. If gun control laws are passed everyone will ignore them and continue trading guns as they always have. And the result of that will be everyone or most people who own a gun will be criminals.

Russian and Chinese Warning

      Russia is warning that a U.S. strike on Syria’s atomic facilities might result in a nuclear catastrophe and is urging the U.N. to present a risk analysis of such a scenario.The warning comes from Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Alexander Lukashevich. He said in a statement Wednesday that a strike on any nuclear installations could contaminate the region with radioactivity. He also said that,  “The consequences could be catastrophic.” this quote that carefully uses the word "catastrophic" also was used by China who is in favor with Russia. In my opinion, There was no justification to intervene in the Syrian civil war until the apparent evidence of a chemical attack. The evidence for this is shaky with both sides accusing the other of using chemical weapons.The US should find out who developed and sold these weapons to the Syrians and put them in jail. I bet a lot of American, European, Russian and Chinese companies and government officials will be involved into the business. The weapon dealers of the world are the true problem facing mankind.!!

An opposed Action

           By the time when my last post was created, the decision on Syria was still an unanswered question. Now the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government happened, about 1,500 people murdered. The Obama administration is now asking Congress for an approval to strike on Syria. Congress said that it won’t be easy to get the approval but on September 9 they are expecting to debate and vote on an authorization, but Obama said that “he would not rule out taking action immediately if Assad deploys chemical weapons before Congress is set to vote. “ This means that he is willing to take action without specific congressional authorization and even if the United Nations Security Council do not agree. If congress authorizes the action, it is the fault of congress; if congress refuses to authorize the action, Obama's will which if not acted upon, can be claimed to have been the best course has been overruled. Let us not lose sight of the fact that an almost unprecedented number of Americans are united in opposing this action.
